NRE 2120 Elements of Nuclear Science and Engineering
This course covers nuclear and radiation engineering fundamentals and applications. Topics include basics of the atom, nuclear cross-sections, interaction rates, radioactive decay, and neutron multiplication. Applications include nuclear power, radiation detection, and nuclear medicine.
